DAB radio

I know the tech in AM isn't the best but had a new v8vs for three months and the radio is crap. Most of the time I can't get a signal but when I do it just breaks up. Any advise please (other than put the iPod back on).

I'd take it in to your dealer. Had mine for 6 months now and have no problem with the DAB radio... Unlike iPhone connectivity!! Are you near high buildings? They can cause interference with the signal.

Thanks, no real high buildings, if yours is fine I guess I must have a fault. Another trip to the dealer, at least I can get fuel in it now :-)

Try giving McGurk Performance Cars a Call, The website says they do a DAB upgrade.

I think it depends where you live. It is more 'on edge' than other DAB installations I have experienced and when it drops out it is not elegant (whereas an Audi will drop back to FM if available or simply mute). FM in my V8VS is poor, hissy sound

Ah OK. I have the CobraTrak system and was told it would not be that in my case as the issue applied to the previous tracker system fitted.
