Most of you will already know the following, but it might be of interest.

The application in the USA for safety exemption, may indicate the timing of the next generation models;

September 2016 - DB9 replacement.
September 2017 - Vantage replacement.

The following link is to a film showing details of the AMG 4 litre bi-turbo V8 engine. Is this the engine that will be wearing an Aston Martin badge?

A few snippets that I have come across.

Four litres now appears to be the significant tax threshold limit, for cars sold in China.

Mercedes-Benz explain that their new AMG GT, has a body made mostly of aluminium and composite.
The engine has dry sump lubrication.
It is a front-mid engined car with a rear mounted gearbox, for perfect weight distribution.

Have we heard all this somewhere before?

The next Bond film will be out November 2015, and is said to feature a new Aston Martin. New could mean anything, but that may be the first time the new model appears.

As his last one was destroyed, it would be nice to see him picking it up from newport pagnell, freshly restored. Although they would only have had 3 years, so it would be nowhere near ready.

Maybe he should have a DBS. As in the films, this was his next aston...
