Sat nav quicky question V8V

[focusman53]

Hi All. I have a 55 plate V8V. If I buy the updated CD for the sat nav, will it then give me the full post code. (And slightly more human voice) rather than the one of a butch Female warder in a woman's prison.
Thank you.Dave

Yes to postcode.

No to the voice. Set it to the male voice anyway. Much more refined, in a Terry-Thomas kind of way.

Otherwise, do what most of the rest of us do: get with the 21st century and use your phone/TomTom.

Yep, tried the SatNav once but it was so poor I decided to step back into 2014 and use the iPhone. Never even flip it up it is so depressing....

The cost of the new discs would get you a good standalone satnav, they're really not worth it.

I 'bought' (ahem) the 2014 map update and it's still extremely disappointing.
