Would it look better with the later sills?

Some cars look better with the sills on and some don't, it's mostly down to preference.

No. Its like seeing a Supermodel age, whose added Botox. You think she still looks good, then you see pictures of her when she was younger. Realise you can't improve on perfection.

Bit like trainers, huh? Why not post up those new puppies on here for some proper feedback.

Meanwhile, back on topic - a set of sport pack wheels will set that off a treat. And I agree with others, the bodywork is just fine how it is.

Less is more........
Looks good either way .
I have a 2006 DB9 and pondered about updating the alloys, but you know what, decided it didn't make a jot of difference.
These Astons look good regardless and there's much too be said for keeping a year model as is.

Not in my opinion.

The pure original Vantage shape was a masterpiece, with a reason for every detail. There were no parts that did not serve a function, and the absence of the running board side sills, does emphasise the width of the rear arches.

I do understand though that as a car model becomes older, design tweaks are needed to keep sales going. I like the GT3 shape, but all of those aero parts are incorporated to serve a practical purpose.

You choose what you like David. Half the people here might say Yes, and the other half No. Enjoy your car, it's a beauty. Like me, you may spend time cleaning the brake dust from those multi-spoke wheels.

Ooooo a black roof. Is that a vinyl wrap? Are you happy with the results?
