The question is do they (AM)really need to bother to go through all that grief?

Surely the super rich fellows that will own these cars will just drive them in London, Paris, New York, L.A. etc on Dubai/UAE/Brunei plates?

Of course there will be a few oligarchs,fortune 500 ceo's, Wall St.financial types, Chinese tycoons, lottery winners and heads of state that may say want one ATM, but will the numbers sold be enough to cover the huge costs of Federal USA/EU safety/Emissions certification so they can realise a profit on the whole deal.

Be interesting to find out what the break even number actually is.

So, is the USA the only place that requires the cars to be crash tested? Doesn't sound safe for cars that don't enter that market.
