It could be a number of things - even a battery quirk if the warning goes after a re-start - but best not to take chances - pop it down to your local friendly dealer to have the diagnostics plugged in wink!

This also happened a few weeks ago to my V8 Vantage Roadster (2008 MY) and it was a broken wire on the offside speed sensor.
AM Edinburgh diagnosed and fixed the broken wire on Monday.
Other possibilities are a Brake Pressure Transducer (located on brake master cylinder) or a faulty speed sensor.

Is your car a Sportshift?
If so then you might encounter the problem I had, when the ABS / DSC warning light came on when reversing the car it seemed to disable the gear change (either using paddles or D mode).
You can still drive the car, although it is a bit unnerving driving it with various warning lights on the dash (my hand brake light stayed on even though it was off!!!)
