I was more into Tony Curtis' Dino. Ever since then it's the one car I have always been in love with.

But Tony Curtis had a Jensen Interceptor for personal transport while he was living in England. The Dino turned out to be very unreliable and when they had finished filming The Persuaders, they offered the car to Mr. Curtis for a very low price but he turned it down.

Dino all the way.

That particular Aston does nothing for me.

Have never found the 246 GT to be unreliable If looked after and driven properly.

Used to love The Persuaders - particularly the film of the two cars during the theme music. Was told today that Dinos now worth about £350k. How much would the DBS be worth?

The Persuaders DBS was sold at the Bonhams auction at NP this year and IIRC it went for £450k plus buyers premium etc. saw in the AM News it is currently at the Barn on display.

Looks like your mate overestimated by about £100k. There's several for sale around the £250k mark. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C561797

On the other hand you could get a glorious V8 brusier like this for around £100-£150k
