DB9 Sat Nav postcode upgrade?

Hi,

I've just bought a 2005 DB9 (pics to follow when I clean it).

Common topic, but I have searched this on various sites. There is no postcode facility on the sat-nav. I thought that by getting a later disc, this would allow postcode searches. I have bought a disc from- www.satnavdisc.co.uk; for a DB9 (2014 mapping), installed it (well put it in the boot mounted slot), but still have no post code search.

Have I chosen the wrong disc/supplier, or is this not the way to get to postcode searches? How can I get the postcode search?

Are you looking in the right spot?

Add destination.
By address.
City - top right of screen is postcode search.

Ah, yes, that has sorted it. I have only ever started with the street address first.
My slight embarrassment is offset by the increased ease of use.

No problem. Glad to help. It may not be very intuitive but having once had a Saab Satnav, I can forgive anything Aston has to offer.
