Has anyone changed all the plastic centre console switches on a pre-2012 DB9 to the nicer post 2012 glass versions? If so, where, and how much does it cost?

Bamford Rose are the only people who do it to my knowledge. Cost depends on whether you use your own switches or they supply them

Your dealer can do it. Mine has offered. I just haven't bitten yet.

Not quite correct Zod. Some of the buttons in the wifes DB9 (2007) are not available in glass from AML

Ah, my car is newer and being manual doesn't have as many buttons.

Thanks, all. Mine is a 207 DB9 too, so I'd like them all changed. Any idea where I could get the glass switches (other than Bamford Rose)?

Most of the buttons can be had off the shelf from any main dealer,I have done so far the PRND + glove box and the warning.I think BR is able to supply customised glass buttons like ejector seat etc......

This is true Seb which is what I did on my DBS. However several of the buttons on the earlier 9's "are not" available from the main dealers, this is where BR comes in. I may of course have missed something in the thread that Gibberish posted up wink

Blofeld has just been up to BR for his MOT which he passed with no issues.. While in their very capable hands they replaced the plastic buttons with the glass ones that they now make and install. Mine is a 2007 car so not all of the buttons are available through AM. They can customise them to read what you want so I had the standard 'Traction Control' button replaced with something a little bespoke.

I have now covered 10,000miles since my standard DB9 with Sports Pack was transformed in to the 520bhp beast that is 'Blofeld'. This includes 2 track days and a 2000 miles in 7 days round trip to Monaco through the French, Italian and Swiss Alps. The lightweight fly wheel, twin plate clutch, switchable suspension and bigger front brakes have performed impeccably.

(Yes, those are Tony's knobs)...

Those new buttons look great.

Out of interest, have you got a switch elsewhere for the suspension?

Yes. THe switchable suspension button is on the right of the original 'Start' button and on the left is the 'Loud' button that leaves the exhaust flap open all of the time.

Aha. Gotcha. I don't suppose that you've got a photo of those as well, do you please?

(I'm currently giving the BR switchable suspension considerable thought and I'm trying to work out the extra switch options).
