I generally think new years is a load of rubbish, but as it's here, I'd like to thank everyone on here for supporting me and and essentially making me probably the most experienced gaydon era Aston Martin detailer in the country. Oh, thank you for all the cake too, though as jockman said, "stop feeding paddy" so this year, no more cake for me, though bacon or sausage sandwiches are most welcome.

Also, if some of you would like to move closer to civilization and not in the heart of deliverance country (you can guess who you are) I'd be most grateful....

Now, as I'm just a poor car polisher and never likely to be in the position to own an Aston like you gentlemen, there isn't a great deal I can add to many of the posts on here, but I obviously gain lots of insight into what people on here generally think about the forum and each other.

So, this year, let's bring the forum back to where it used to be and get some of the old guard back, who I know still lurk in the background. You all love your cars (when they are working properly) and are all genuinely nice people so this year.....

If someone has an exhaust fitted or other work done by someone other than the person you use, that's their choice and as long as they are happy with it, good for them. no need to shout them down or get into a forum wide argument.

There are strong friendship groups that have developed from this forum that extend beyond here into the real world and as such, they might decide to go on the odd run out. There have been cases this year where people have not been happy about being asked to go. Instead of having a moan, just say fair play, you all had fun, but next one you go on, give me a shout.

It seemed that in 2014, everything was on a knife edge and arguments were too frequent, even going as far as threatening personal emails to a few. This year, let's get it back to being the most friendly and liked forum on PH. Let's just have a laugh, enjoy the fact you have Aston's and try to help folk out where needed. Not hard is it.

Once again, thank you guys and here's to a great 2015

Francis

Here's to another lovely year of carousing and cruising around in Aston Martins and meeting nice folk on the highways and byways of Europe and around the world.

You best get your ample posterior over to the Fens then Francis. Cos I know your noble new years resolution to refuse 'cake' will not get past next weekend,,,I'll save you a man size slice of some of Julias 40% proof Xmas cake. party

To those on the forum we've met, to all those that post and the many that keep their council, hope you all enjoy many fabulous Aston Martin miles during 2015. driving
