Hello,

I've bought some locking wheel nuts for my Vantage. I should have asked the garage to put them on when they replaced the tyre on Monday but I forgot.

I don't seem to have any tools in the car. Can anyone tell me what size spanner I need?

Cheers

Tim

21mm socket is what you need. You should use a torque wrench when you do them up, the torque settings are in the manual or you can find them in the FAQs post.

21 or 22, both are correct depending on the model/year of the car.

Tim....just a heads up on torque wrenches.

Get yours checked if it's a few years old or has had a lot of use. It transpired that my old one was over 30 ftlb out with the result that the wheel nuts came loose at a Rockingham track day and a rear wheel almost came off! The wheel was badly damaged as the stud holes wore oval. Not a pleasant experience!!
