Storage companies UK - '09 Vantage V8
Discussion
Hi all,
My first post after 6 months of throughly enjoying my Vantage V8, have to say greatest investment I've ever made, for the soul anyway! However, having to work overseas for probably 18months, and just wondering opinions on suitable storage options. Any experiences or recommendations? I'm west london and ideally something down south would be ideal as I will pop back from time to time.
Why don't I sell it? Well, it took 6 months to find a fully loaded 1 owner low low mileage example in black and my missus named him.... Ha ha.
Great forum by the way, read it every day inspired (and was probably the reason for the purchase!)

I have international customers who bring their cars to me for annual trip preparation who use these guys and have been very pleased. Many services available from them and they have been 100% reliable with all their appointments with me for collections and delivery.

Apart from that, no affiliation etc etc.

Thanks all for the advice, much appreciated and 2 ideal candidates. I'm redoing the man-sheet (you know, the spreadsheet we all do justifying why an Aston Martin is a more sensible purchase than a Audi A4), and I'm considering my options. I don't see a big depreciation curve on a low milage Vantage kept original and unmessed with, however always appreciate other people's perhaps more experienced opinions. I will of course one day grow up and buy a DBS (black, manual, dream), but feel that the vantage will probably make better money than its cash value sitting in ailing banks! Less risk too! Also means I don't need to drive a generic Hire car every time I pop home for a week!

Your man maths is really, really good but I'm sorry to tell you that every Gaydon V8 Vantage is going to continue depreciating over the next few years. Some more than others but they are all going to continue losing value for the foreseeable future (especially when the new AMG version is released). But cash in the bank, even at 3%, is going to appreciate. Not a lot, mind you, but it's still going to go up, not down.

Doesn't a PHer own and run a car storage facility near Gatwick?
His name escapes me, I'm afraid, but I'm sure that someone will remember it.
Its Umair Bhatti and he is a real Piston Head (And a thoroughly nice chap). Your car will be well looked after with him. His facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/ironictwist and his company is Garaged.comHis name escapes me, I'm afraid, but I'm sure that someone will remember it.
