not many early DB9's have the full sportspack ..........i have fitted the sportspack wheels at a later stage which do look great........i wouldn't worry too much about it if all other aspect are right with the car your looking at

Mine is an 07 manual with Sports Pack. The ride was really firm and even more noticeable after coming from a Jag XKR. I wouldn't have even considered a 2000 Monaco Road trip with the standard suspension as it was so I gave it to a well known independent who fitted switchable suspension so I now have the option of firm or comfort ride with the press of a button.

The thing about AM is that they haven't got billions of pounds to develop the perfect car, so it's a work in progress. Buying a 2007 car now and adding the bits that have been developed over the last 8yrs will give you a really great car as you want it, not dialled down to appeal to the masses.

Speak to Mike at Bamford as I think there are better options than the official sports pack. As mentioned above the switchable Bilsteins I'm told are a revelation (but be warned, get saving!). I have the BR chassis upgrades (not the shocks yet) and even my wife said the car felt much better to drive, as though it was going where she wanted it to, rather than jumping around the road..... rolleyes
