That sounds great fun Dave, will you see the main race?
Any pictures you can post on PH for us?
Just for you Will.Any pictures you can post on PH for us?
Not going to the race as 24hrs is a bit much for me these days and would need one of those giant RV's on the infield to be able to endure!
Great set up there and it is currently undergoing redevelopment. Entrance and full access to garages (Pit Lane) for just $20 for the practice day.
Only went there to familiarise myself for access and parking, intending to go the Daytona 500 next month.
This looks a good site forcoverage

Thank you for the links.
I presume the Gulf car 98 is an AMR factory entry (which we would know as GTE class). The blue car 007 (GT3 class to us). Both of these cars show on the qualifying results, but I cannot see the matt black car (first photograph) amongst the results.
Any explanation (and if I missed it on the results, don't say, Specsavers)?
Dave - wonderful pictures, thanks
TRG are a California team. I made contact with them for a track day in December just gone, the idea was that Chase who has the nice white One-77, planned to use their car for the day on track (his One-77 was in NY stuck in customs as the first One-77 to gain entrance to the US. Can only get in as a Special Show Car, not to be driven on the road
My bad back and Chase not being able to make it from Seattle with family commitments finished this off.
TRG guys are a great operation, wish them all the luck for the race

Correct the blue car was AMR team. Spoke to the guys looking after it, from Prodrive Banbury.I presume the Gulf car 98 is an AMR factory entry (which we would know as GTE class). One of the matt black ones was having its smashed windscreen replaced when I last saw it.
