Great spec - all black with yellow callipers & stitch, lightweight seats, B&O, May '13 (towards the end of the production run), 2,000 miles, asking price £140k
It's the only V12VR that I'm aware of that is for sale. There is also only one V12VSR listed for sale (although I imagine there are a handful at dealers which are for sale, but which can't be advertised, i.e. demonstrators), which is the skyfall silver one some posted a few weeks ago - asking price £150k
Incidentally also on the AML official site, is a V12VS coupe up for below £100k - it's an early car with 26k miles so possibly an ex press/factory demo car but it's still a great buy for someone looking for the cheapest entry into the S
Anyway, back to roadsters. You can argue til the cows come home about the relative merits and premiums of S over non-S, but the fact remains for either car and particularly the manual non-S now that production has stopped, pricing is still very uncertain, influenced partly by what someone is prepared to sell at, also by how well the dealer understands the car, with simply too few examples being sold to get a grip of a true value
The £140k asking price is not daft considering how few miles it's done, it's a very uncontroversial spec and if you want one, there are literally no others available. But I wouldn't have thought many would value a V12VR in general at as high a price as £140k. What it sells for will be fascinating, as indeed will how quickly it sells. At some stage, I think the market price could explode on these cars, but I suspect that won't be for at least another year or two.
Meanwhile a little snippet of info on CAP that may be useful to know (our business subscribes to CAP). The 'black book' lists neither V12 coupe nor roadster. The electronic version of cap (trade only, c. £1k per annum) does list both coupe & roadster but it doesn't have accurate pricing for roadsters, so prices them very close to the (fairly accurate) coupe prices. That's because CAP rely on market data and there will be almost none on roadsters, especially at auction where I don't think any have been sold. So if your finance company uses cap, or someone offering to buy yours in does, be careful ! A typical age/mileage V12VR in CAP is priced at £85k trade clean and £93k retail ........

Jonby your obsession with the value of your car is almost an illness. Good job you actually use it and enjoy it

LOL - have you taken a look over on the Pork forum recently? They have hundreds of posts and pages from GT3 owners obsessing about the value of their cars on an almost daily basis...

Ha ! Can't argue. Although in fairness, it all came about in this instance because fresh on the heels of renewing insurance and having to get an agreed value, CAP called this morning to go through a trial of their electronic system (we currently use the books). We used the example of v12V & v12VR to see the difference between the two systems and then I saw the pricing on the roadster !
19kish miles on mine now :-)

Works had another black one with sandstorm std seats last week
They had that one with the yellow accents in a few months back as well
sandstorm car was sold months ago. They had that one with the yellow accents in a few months back as well
car with lightweight seats is what is available.
Works has messed up the pics on the web site .. on AM locator, you see car with lightweight seats, on Works website, they have the same car (but pics of sandstorm seats).
In all, means Works has one V12VR only.
However, another V12VR will be coming on sale very soon .. it's skyfall silver (I think) with standard seats

A main dealer in germany had three V12VR for sale up until a month ago they now have one new car left priced at around £131k. The two that sold where for sale for all of last year then suddenly they both sold. With 100 uk cars they will stay well over 100k imo.
Oh and yes i bet the stealers will love CAP.

101 cars were made/sold globally, 30something in the UK, most of the others in Europe but the odd one elsewhere (1 each in Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Japan & New Zealand IIRC). Most of the European ones were Germany, with the odd one in Switzerland, Netherlands & Belgium (again IIRC, there may have been one in France)Oh and yes i bet the stealers will love CAP.
There were a good 10 or so cars that were dealer (not customer) spec that were sold into Germany, with a handful of similar cars in the UK, to make up the 101. All the rest were customer cars. The German cars stuck for some while (I assume the theory was a customer anywhere in Europe might buy from the German network). I think one reason they stuck is there seemed little in the way of (advertised) discount. It took a good while for all those cars to sell but I think the ones you have mentioned may fall into that category.
