My new Vantage S in Gold brushed chrome

Hello guys,

Here's a before pic i took on the day of delivery. (step 1: Pulled fuse 15 )






1st layer: Gold chrome






Final layer applied: Clear brushed protective film




Black chrome applied on front grille.
Blacked out all mesh
de-chromed everything to black including inner rims

And finally, i received the dragon 88 badges and gloss-black wheel centers.

Also powder-coated the exhausts black

Interesting but why is the reflective effect (colour match) from panel to panel so different once the brushed layer is added?

It's quite a thick layer.

haha, that is a real marmite thing - people will either love it or hate. Personally I think its a bit of fun and guessing as its a wrap in a couple of years you can change it again

Surprised you needed to order new badges though? Couldn't you just paint the originals?
