Has anyone experienced this? I have been driving my V12 Vantage lately about three days a week; had a fairly comprehensive service just over one week ago. Today, inserting the key into the ignition dock generated a) a lot of clicks from inside the driver's door, and b)the analogue clock spun around crazily non-stop until I removed the key. Can't access the boot/trunk with any of the available electronic switches. Probably a battery problem. but if so, very sudden given the driving frequency.

Anyone know how to access the boot/trunk without electrical assistance? I would like to hook up the trickle charger again, at least to be able to extract the car from the garage...

Aaaaaagh....

Mine did the same. Unfortunately my trickle charger was plugged in, or so I thought, in the boot.
Turns out I hadn't pushed it in all the way and the battery went flat.

You can use the cigarette lighter socket in the centre console if you have access to the charger and can get into the car.
Failing that, pop the bonnet, and use either jump leads on the terminals. This should give you enough juice to open the boot.

After that it's a case of resetting everything. Windows, seats and so on.
Small tip. If you open the door just be carefull when closing it. As the window Dosnt drop.

Yep sounds like the battery. As above, or lift the tray behind the drivers seat and put the battery on a charge at least you can then take it somewhere to be tested.

Managed to get a jump start from my local friendly automobile association, open the trunk and charge the battery overnight - now showing as fully charged. However, although ignition works fine, none of the switches for the windows, mirrors or seat adjustments function. Is this a known issue with a dead battery, and is there an obvious solution?

You now need to do a window and seat reset, it's detailed in the handbook.

Tried that but the windows do not move at all - same for the seats.

Have you started the car yet? Might need that to take it out of battery protection mode (just guessing).

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes, reconnect and try again, before checking for blown fuses etc.

Glad you got it all sorted.
After mine went flat i had the same prob with the drivers window. It was the window moudual. Had to remove it and put it back then all was ok.

Dont forget to reset both windows and seat now its back up to charge. Instructions are in the FAQs.
