Aston Martin talk in Leeds - Tuesday night

[Dr Slotter]

Anybody local to the JCT Brooklands dealership in Leeds might be interested to come along to an IMechE technical talk to be given by Ian Minards about how the Aston Martin product development team uses virtual analysis to prove-out new vehicle designs.

It's on Tuesday night and the details are here.

That's really close to me but unfortunately I'm not around on Tuesday or I'd go. Looks interesting.

Tempted but I don't think I would have the self control to not "have a word" with Mr Minards after his vendetta to prevent me fixing my 13 month old ASM2 gearbox when it failed due to a manufacturing fault
As Tony Hall would say Tosser

[laracer]

Thanks for that - have booked to go along

[Muffster]

That sounds really interesting and its near to me.
Is it open to anyone, can us mere mortals attend too?

[Dr Slotter]

Sure, more the merrier!

[Dr Slotter]

Just a reminder that this is tomorrow night. I'll be the one taking 'official' photos and mucking about the the AV system if you want to say hello.

[laracer]

Interesting evening - I'll be sure to make a point of looking out for next year's event.
Thanks again
