Sale or Return

Hi guys,

Trying to sell my car. Does anyone know a good garage that offers a sale or return service in the London area?

What sort of fee is normal or do the garages make their money off the finance packages?

Grange Welwyn do that too and gave me a fixed figure that they would take for the sale (I didn't go that route in the end). Bear in mind that if a dealer has stock that it has bought in then your car will be bottom of the pile as far as effort to sell is concerned as they have money tied up in stock and need to shift it, whereas they will have nothing tied up in your car. That said, if someone wants your specific spec then they will sell it.

Ball park how much do they charge on, say, a £50k car?

they want a profit, they will need to spend on detailing it, they will need to service it (maybe) they will need to warranty it and spend the money doing the check.

why don't you sell it privately ? I've never had a problem and you might save 5k
