Just to add to the usual happy people on here. I had the cats sorted out and the exhaust switch fitted as well as an MOT.

The BR guys found several things on my car that hadn't been attached properly from birth (so despite having a full AM service history it was missed at least 5 times by AM), they replaced a faulty brake switch and also flushed my brakes out (my car has done 300 miles since its 5 year service at a large AM dealer who informed me that the bleed nipples were a bit corroded and might break if they tried bleed them..... utter rollocks)

So all in all, big thanks to them for the work and the company / chats as they were sorting my motor out smile

Thank goodness for good indies. Despite getting my Ferrari serviced at a main dealer, I pay an Indy every year to give me a second opinion!! My cars have been rock solid reliable as a result.

Interesting strategy hehe
I guess it is worth it to keep the Ferrari main dealer stamp in the book for residuals

Do you go to the Indy before taking it to the dealer, to get a list of warranty items to be looked at?
Sorry for being thick

Generally yes but my warranty just expired and I haven't renewed. My Indy also knows that any work that needs doing will go to them so they don't charge me a great deal for this service - it's more that the car is not with me for longer. Worth building that relationship! No matter how nice main dealer service depts are, they're just puppets on strings and a large holding company is pulling the strings - revenue first.
