Just got a letter in the mail yesterday about my 2009 DB9 having a recall notice! Safety recall action RA-03-0017 - Throttle Pedal Lever. Any idea what it's all about? I'm ok to still drive it yes?

Sounds like the cheap fake plastic part recall. if so its been around for a while and yours hasn't been done. There's a heated seat one as well.

There's a new recall for the fuel door as well. These are quarantine notices which means that, if you bring the car to the dealer, they cannot give you the car back until the work is completed. I recommend you call ahead and verify that they have the replacement parts in-house prior to bringing your car in.

Obviously there is a different fuel flap issue to the V8V. When mine went in for its service in January the dealers said they didn't have the parts so didn't do it and told me to take the car away. Haven't heard from them since

US threat of litigation v the europe view maybe. The fuel recall as far as I could tell was related to the body work flap and not the fuel cap as such.
