Just wondering if anyone knows much about the history of this car?
First came across it when I seen the model at AM works and straight away wanted one of the models (anyone knows the brand then let me know as I'm still looking for one)

After doing some research I discovered it was a GT1 made for the 1995 Le Mans race privately but was 3rd on the failed to qualify list and the owner became disheartened with it and donated it to musuem and it's just lived there since then.

This is all I can find on it. Never seen it, but I did find some birthday wrapping paper with the image on it which I kept unused..

That was the same article I found aswell and the only info I could find on it
I did find it strange that it said the 6.3 was an option on the Virage as with my memory always thought the Virage was a 5.3 with the Vantage being a 5.8 supercharged.
The AMR1 used the 5.3 litre from the Virage that was then bored and stroked by Calloway to 6.3?
Just found this loads of pictures of it and a good article including some wind tunnel models

virage was a 5.4 (5340) with a later option for the 6.3 and then again either in natural body style or in a wide body style
there are a few odd 7 litre ones about too
the vantage was the same engine 5.4 but from what was the later coupe by then so had been fettled a tiny bit and improved but with added twin superchargers to get 550hp.
later got fettled again to get 600
