I've looking for a V8 vantage for about 6 weeks now and I have 32k to spend. I really want a black one with the updated seats. This seems to be impossible to find and over the last couple of weeks people seem to be putting there prices up, cars that were around the 33k mark seem to be up for 36-37k now

A 2007MY or onwards for £32k ish? Maybe not. For my first Aston, it took me best part of a year to get the right one. Keep looking.

Personally I wouldn't get too hung up about finding a car with the later seats, if you find a car you like with a proper history and in a colour combination you like.

Having done a 7hr run across Europe last weekend I found the early seats in the V8 Vantage very comfortable and got out the other end without any aches or pains and I suffer with back problems. The car I was in had the electric lumber support (not sure if it's standard) which was excellent.

Good luck finding a car

I can't post a link but my car is in the classifieds for £34k. It's an MY07 which would fit the bill and is meteorite

Black is not a colour... it's a permanent job (to keep clean)!

No, you absolutely should be fussy. You're about to spend a lot of money on a prestige vehicle. Pricing wise, they certainly are creeping up as Summer approaches. Sit tight, wait for the right one, it will be out there, but you may struggle to get a 2007 for £32k. The boys are right though, black is an absolute nightmare to keep clean. Tungsten, that's the colour to go for........ wink

I understand there is a very nice example for sale, but clearly that wasn't the thrust of my post. Sort of.

I think for sub 40k miles, you are around £3-4k short im afraid, though i guess you may get lucky.

Be patient and you will find a car. I was about to give up 3 months ago(I also made a post about it) then a few days later the perfect car turned up.
I was after a DB9, less that 20k miles, one of the early ones, had to have full Aston service history, had to have been recently serviced and in tungsten or meteorite.
I found a tungsten 2005 that had done 13k miles and had just had a £4.5k service and was mint.
I was about to give up!
