Dumb question - is it actually switched on? Have you tried toggling the on/off button?

If you can't do it in the system uncouple it on your phone.

This happens if a device on the MOST bus fails or is unplugged. If the sat nav isn't working I would check this first.

On the 2007 Coupe it is in the rear passenger side quarter (accessed from a small panel in the trim on the left hand side of the boot wall). Could well be in a similar location on the Roadster.

You will have the hard disk version, unsure if there are any tell tail lights to say if it's working. Check connections/listen for sounds of disks spinning..

Next I would check the amp - rear driver side quarter, got to remove half the boot to get at it so I would start by checking the fuses...

All the components you have listed are connected via the MOST bus, if one of them goes down, then the system won't start. If the power to any of them have failed, this will also stop the MOST ring from operating. So first job would be to check all the fuses in both the fusebox in the passenger footwell and also in the boot fusebox.

The Sat Nav drive on the Roadster is under the tonneau cover, above the cubby box at the rear of the centre console.

If the power is all OK, the next move is to disconnect the fibre optic lead from one item at a time and use a fibre test loop to eliminate that component from the circuit. The two occasions I've had this happen it was the Harmon-Becker Ipod interface that had failed.

Has anything been added to the car recently or any work done, that might have compromised the MOST?

Hope this helps.

Did you resolve this issue?
I’ve got exactly the same problem on my 2007 Vantage but put it down to a low battery (the system will shut this down if the battery is critically low). However, had the car running for half an hour and the audio system is still inoperable with exactly the same description that you gave in the original post.

Not sure that running the car for half an hour will bring battery up to full working beans.

Could be right. The manual isn’t very helpful, beyond saying it could disable the audio system when low. You’d have thought, if it had enough juice to turn a v8 into life, it could turn the radio on biglaugh

I fixed mine by removing the fuse in trunk (boot) for the Amplifier, waited a minute and putting it back in and it fixed the issue

Thanks, I'll give it a go.

Was your screen failing to lift prior to this fix?

I don't have a GPS but the radio portion of my little display never came on before I reset that fuse. It is worth a try for sure

This is good advice.
Fuse (5amp) in cabin fuse box (located in passenger footwell and beneath carpet), used on a multi connector (2 fuses), one of which had blown. I’m assuming this part of the satnav upgrade, using Aston Installations gear, but installed by a local ICE shop here in Auckland.
Giving you the fuse number would be pointless as it was done using a ‘blank’ fuse slot, so could be installed on any blank slot.

For future reference, symptoms include non operative audio system, satnav, volume and satnav door mechanism.
I had additional non operating dash cam, which I believe was wired to the same fuse.

Apart from getting to the fuses, it’s a simple fix.
