Convertible hood repair? Any recommendations?

There are two patches on the roof of my V8 Vantage that are worn, they are not holes (yet) but I would like to prevent them from getting to that stage. I assume there is some sort of repair process that can strengthen the weak points and prevent them from getting worse?

Can anyone recommend someone to do this? Or a good and effective DIY kit?

Thanks for that, however that seems to be more about cause / prevention than repair? I need to find a way to repair a roof that is already showing signs of damage / wear to prevent it getting worse.

Anyone? Could really do with someone to prevent this wear turning into a hole!
