So picked up the new (to me) DBS on Friday. They said they had taken out fuse 22 but it seemed very quiet. They hadn't so I did.
It is still very quiet. A nice roar on start up and at the lower end of the rev range but between 1700 and 4000 it seems whisper quiet. That can't be right can it?Is it possivble the valves are stuck? It's a 2011 with 15000 miles.
Is there anyway of checking that the valves are open?

I had the same feeling, take a look at my thread here.

I fitted QuickSilver straight through pipes in replacement for second set of Cats and it made a huge difference. Works did mine but Bamford Rose will do similar.

'It changed to fuse 15 for later cars.
I'd check yours, and don't rely on the manual. Mines not two years old yet and the manual states exhaust valves are 22. They're not.
Loud at startup, quietus to 4000 and loud after (especially in sport) means the valves are working. '
Blimey, what have I disconnected then?
