Nice to see a few other Aston's sitting in Q's workshop a couple of minutes in.
Yes.
Think I can see what looks like a silver DB5 (an obvious connection).
To James Bond's left, is that a black V8V (no previous connection)?
What is the comment, "Zero to sixty in three point two seconds"?
Think I have been swindled, my V8V takes four point seven seconds.
Oh nearly forgot, films are pretend. -

This video should be of interest.

It might be an old piece of film, but I only came across it today, after viewing the videos referred to above.
Wonderful comment about Aston Martin,
"After that, we never had any more trouble". -

Bond's DB10 clearly has a few optional extras fitted and the trailer explains the projected rear bumper! I'm still running with my theory that the shark design of the front end is somehow significant to the car's credentials.
Looks like the DB10 plays a significant part - it's certainly going to be good news for the brand and hopefully, residuals.

I'm with your wife (not literally). But Daniel Craig is a close second and maybe a little closer in character to the booksRichB said:
I think it far more likely you'll find that the shark nose is part of Aston's design language going forward.
Going forward! Business nonsense-speak from a DB owner!
My favourite and probably the most famous shape Aston Martin grilles, are those on the DB4, DB5, DB6, and with an almost identical outline, on the current Vantage. I think that shape has been copywrited or design protected, by Aston Martin, along with the air outlet in the front wings.
I would be disappointed to see 55 years of history ditched, and replaced by a nondescript forward leaning, Ford Focus grille.

So a Q tweaked DB10 at 3.2 secs is possible....
The trailer looks fantastic and a key role for the Aston Martin!

Sorry to have offended you! Should I have said, 'looking forward' or 'in the future' or perhaps 'for future designs' would have suited you better?
That's alright RichB. Don't take my comment seriously.
I could just see a picture in my mind of the World in 1958, a beautiful maroon DB2/4 Mk III, and comparing that with the meaningless phrases of today, 'at this moment in time' (hardly likely to be confused with the moment in leverage), 'blue sky thinking', and 'going forward'.

Well, a V12VS has a 0-60 time of 3.7 secs.

True, but I understand that the DB10 has the 4·7 V8 engine.
However, it is all part of the whole Bond fantasy.
Now we have seen several clips of the filming of the DB10, it will be interesting to see how the various shots have been put together. Try not to shout in the cinema, "That reversing was filmed at Blenheim Palace, and it took several attempts". -
