I had the message come up on the display saying that the rear pads were worn, which they were. So I have replaced the pads with new ones and checked the condition of the sensors and all looked good.

However the message remains on, so thinking perhaps the sensors were damaged I disconnected both at the plug and socket end above the drive shaft, yet the message still remains on. No amount of reading the message will clear it.

Does anyone know why this should be the case, and how to clear the message?

Cheers smile

I think that the error will remain on whilst the sensors are not in place IIRC

Replaced mine and installed new sensors and warning went away. It looks like the sensors are a simple loop where the sensor being worn down opens the circuit. So taking the sensor out just leaves the circuit open, hence the light. Check your sensors. May have pinched a wire or something.
