AM/FM Radio failed

Our V8 Vantage (2007) has the Premium Audio package

The CD player is working well and sounds fine
The radio appears to tune in successfully but makes no sound on either AM or FM selection

I have accessed the passenger footwell fuse box and checked the fuses for the radio and amplifier (F64 & F65), both are ok

Can anyone offer any further advice? Many thanks in advance

I discovered the AM wasn't working on my previous MY09 V8V shortly after I got it 2 years ago and it needed a new tuner module (FM was working OK). This was done under warranty but my understanding is it isn't cheap. If both FM and AM aren't working could it be the ariel?

Sounds like a bit of a common problem. During my recent service, the dealer phoned to say the AM wasn't working on the radio and did I want them to investigate and repair.

I hadn't noticed as I generally never listen to the radio, (and probably never AM anyway), so while I like to think I look after my cars and spend where necessary, I have no intention of spending hundreds getting it sorted. That's money that can go towards the exhaust!

The only reason I discovered the AM tuner wasn't working on mine was when I tried to listen to Test Match Special. Maybe a few more faulty ones might be discovered in the next couple of weeks!

Modules come up on flea bay all the time....not expensive.....

Simple really.....am/fm module......lookin db9, vantage v8.... Gaydon era cars....
