As you may have read in another thread I recently bought a high mileage (118k) DB9 Volante from Aston Works in Durham.

I have had a couple of minor niggles with the car namely a squeaking rear brake, low coolant level warning light coming on when accelerating & also had a few brake & traction control warning lights come on randomly then go off although car drove fine.

Brian calls me to see how I'm getting on with car I explain the above & he organises a trailer to come & pick it up to return & sort all the issues.

Fault code seems to suggest brake pump issue so new one being fitted thus week.

Credit where it's due the service received has been fantastic from the very first contact.

That sounds great.

May i ask the year of your Aston and what you paid as if the car is sorted a high mileage DB9 would appeal. Was it much less than a comparable lower mileage example?

Thanks

I've had a similar experience with Guy at Aston Martin Reading (Pangbourne). Two months after purchase and we are still in contact.

You should read the whole story, on the original topic.
This car sounds unique. The previous owner did not have anything repaired, but replaced with new, even the folding roof I think. Tyres and brake pads never had chance to wear out, before they were replaced.
Most unusual, but great for OP, the new owner.

Just another vote of confidence in Aston Service Beamish, first class every time I've used them.

Superb collection of old cars there too. Worth a drive out to anybody in the north, just to see them.

Paid £30k & it's a late 2005 model & is immaculate in every way the previous owner cared for it way above the call of duty.

Thanks

Car is back (they kept hold of it while I was on holiday) & it is utterly fantastic.

As well as fixing the warning lights they also fixed any minor niggle that I had mentioned (squeaky brakes, slight squeak from steering wheel, slight rattle from drivers window) result is car is now even better than I thought it could be.
