2006 V8V rear diffuser

Has anyone else had fading of the paint on the underside of the rear diffuser?

My car is Meteorite but the diffuser has faded slightly. I thought it would polish up but it wont!!

Im thinking of painting it satin black along with the mesh above the diffuser panel as these need a blowover as well.

Yes mines a little blotchy as well, just seems to be on the underside.
