DB9 GT interior
Discussion
The fascia panel on the waterfall is to recessed what with the new buttons being almost flat. Not had a chance to see how they feel yet but in the previous models with the buttons protruding out i should imagine they were easier to use. Not to fussed about the colour as i quite like it. I love those seats, they look great. But other than that am i the only one who thinks there is not much difference really? Of course i bet Aston are saving the interior wow factor for the DB11 etc.

Looks nice. What's with the poor fit/finish on pic 2? Trim running along the window.
I think the trim finish is due to the air bag ? I test drove a Vanquish that had the same issue . I love the interior and was very surprised with only 12 months to go on this car they went to the bother of upgrading the interior. I'm not sure this is the final run though . I've got a funny feeling we might just see few more bhp at the very end of life as Vanquish S gets launched with at least 600bhp. They may even name it Ultimate Edition ? Is the satnav always up in the Vanquish, and therefore now also in the other MY2016 cars with a Vanquish style centre console?
If it is up, then the otherwise smooth lines are spoilt by a casing sticking up. I have noticed quite a few other make cars,
where a display screen is fitted, as though it was just an after market add-on.
Here is the latest Mercedes-Benz.
The entire dashboard looks like a committee job, and when their meeting finished, they asked Halfords to stick on a display screen.

No. Depress the power button for a few seconds and it folds away leaving music playing. It will, though automatically rise when a call comes in to display the caller ID, etc. Edited by Jon39 on Wednesday 19th August 22:46

I think the new fascia is colour sensitive, IMO it looks best where the touch sensitive areas and the ski-slope all blend together (piano black)...... of course as ever one man's meat is anothers poison

I agree with you Grant.
That does look good. The muddled look is eliminated, and a beautiful colour leather also, to contrast with the Piano Black.
