I am potentially selling my wheels to a guy who is based in Scotland and I am in South East.

He wants to know if they will fit his early V8V. I know stud pattern will be 114.3x5 but will they clear the arches?

Anyone done this?

Thanks

A friend of mine has a 2008 V8 Vantage Roadster and has fitted the standard V12 wheels without modification

I can get some BC Forged at a very good price but I think I will keep an OEM look and get the V12V S wheels.

Such a shame the carbon black spec car is a classic spot on imo, sorry GT Two. i love the original wheels.

Originals a little too 'flourishy' for my taste. Like the more business like look of the S wheels.

I don't think it's really a special edition such as a numbered CSL or Superleggera.

Surely I should make it what I want? I nearly bought a v12 S but wanted a manual car.

A fellow manual enthusiast.

I too like the wheels that you want, because I prefer the spoke shape.
Are you happy though with dark coloured wheels, on a black car?
Another Marmite issue. - smile Just a thought, but my opinion does not matter.

I am thinking of changing to the Sport Pack wheels, but they probably only look right on the cars of their era.

I too am undecided on the black perhaps this kind of finish. What is the Sport pack wheel?

Here it is. I think they initially appeared on the DB9, and were then available on the first 4.7 Vantages when Sports Pack (harder suspension) was specified.
They ran from Model Year 2009 until I think, the introduction of the MY2012.25 changes.

I like them, do it. I think they are quite light too.

The newer V12VS lightweight wheels are also available in the Silver finish if you are undecided on the Black wheel on your Black car

Yeah, but I don't think they look great in plain silver. Too plain! But I also wouldn't go for black wheels on a black car. Not saying it's wrong, I just don't like it. Could you paint the new V12VS wheels graphite or black and diamond turn the face to end up a bit like this:

I think that would look the dogs. That set on AM Bits look like a good price with tyres (albeit tyres you don't like GT Two but you could always sell them on). Finally, I don't think the V8V Sportspack wheels are wide enough for a V12V and also a bit too pretty, if you know what I mean. Looking forward to seeing the finished car when you're all done.

This may help you decide. Standard satin black. Ferrari Ferro Grigio would be my second choice if I painted them.

That's exactly what i did - went from all silver to gloss black "insides".
Very pleased with the result smile
