How to fix sill scratch on DB9?
Discussion
I've been very lucky with my recent 2007 DB9 purchase, replacing my V8VR. The DB9 looks like it's been in a time warp the past 7 years with every part almost perfectly pristine and little cosmetic wear showing after 15,000 miles of use.
So this tiny sill scuff panel scratch annoys the heck out of me, especially as both sills are otherwise perfect. Although the astonmartinbits cost for a new one is only around £80-90, I'd prefer to try and fix or reduce the scratch rather than replace since it's quite small and only noticeable to me.
The photo makes the sill look brown but it's an aluminium colour.
Is there some way to eliminate or cover the scratch? It's fingernail-feel noticeable, reasonably deep, not just a surface scrape.

I have the same issue on the drivers side on my car too and its a little bit of an eyesore....
These are anodized aluminium pieces so are a bit of a pig to repair. You can either have it cleaned up and sprayed, advantages are it won't cost much but the disadvantage is it'll scratch up super easily or you need to have it recoated.
If the latter then you'll need to use a specialist to get it done, if you google anodize repaint or similar you'll find some places that'll sort you out. I got in touch with one company (can't find the email now) but didn't follow it up. My guess is for 2 plates its probably cheaper to just use AM Bits.
