V8V problem with glowing light on hazard light switch

I've noticed that the small light on the hazard warning switch now has a constant glow as can be seen in the photo below. When the car lights are switched on the glow disappears as shown in the second photo. When the hazard warning lights are switched on the light flashes at full brightness as shown in the last photo.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? I would guess it's a bad earth somewhere. I bought a second hand switch on eBay, fitted it and it and it behaves exactly the same so it's unlikely to be a problem with the switch itself. Does anyone know where I could get a wiring diagram for a 2006 V8V?

I've not seen your issue at all but I assume you've gone around the car and tested all the lights (i.e. indicators, brake, fog, reverse, main etc). It could be you have a fault in one of the rear lights or somewhere else in the system... purely speculating but that is where I'd start.
