Initial 3 month service missing

Hello All.

A couple of the previous Vantage V8's have owned have not had a stamp in the book for the initial 3 month/1000 mile service and I've never been that bothered and I have not had a problem moving them on, I've seen another I like, it has the same issue.

Is this common or something i should be worried about, the rest of the service history is bang on?

The service book of my MY2013 goes straight from PDI to 1 year/10,000 mile service. Not sure when they dropped the 3 month/1000 mile service but maybe the service record pages of the book lagged behind the change in schedule. Don't think I would be bothered anyway.

IIRC I had to have the oil change service on my 4.3 V8V but did not have to on the 4.7 V8V so perhaps it happened with the change of engines.

Not sure why you wouldn't have the oil change done having just bought a new Aston but wouldn't worry me too much.
