Hi geezers....I'm overjoyed...
Just got invite to James Bond evening at local MD.
Help me decide whether to wear my Tux or go as a Bond villain and if so which one...desicions,desicions.
And to you female geezers..should my wife wear luxe or go as a Bond girl ?

Steven,

Without doubt it would have to be Jack Spang the diamond smuggling Bond adversary from "Diamonds are for Ever ", what with you being a Diamond Geezer and all that……..bowtie

Well I've done a bit of research and I'll probably either go as Bond"s brother (Jeremy )or as Blofeld.
Wasn't Blofeld the one that stroked a pussy ? That should suit me.....
As for you Mr Down.....have we met ?
Trying to get my wife to go as Pussy Galore .....I'll come back to you if she clobbers me ....

Ed,

A very generous compliment that I appreciate.
However I do not resemble Anthony Perkins who plays the part so I'll have to pass on that.
For a starter he's got hair whereas I have the moody shaven headed look.

Go as Blofeld. You can buy Dr Evil suits on the interweb, slightly the wrong colour but close. Then simply strap a pussy to your arm and off you go.......

I think you've got that muddled up, it's not a pussy that's a strap on.

I got that invite to that secret Bond premiere. The dress code was black tie. Couldn't think of anything more cringeworthy so binned the letter.

Have you missed the last few?
Sean Connery is not Bond any more.

Enjoy watching the modified V8 Vantage.

Only very very briefly I think at Burleigh Steve.

But putting aside my original suggestion, Blofeld (the 'You only live twice version' would be easiest to carry off and most recognisable to the fellow guests)

The name's Bond, not "names". If you can't get that right, then you've no business showing up at a Bond premier.

OK folks ....shows over.....can't now go now owing to fat finger syndrome.
Very very pleased that our transatlantic cousin Steve G took the trouble to correct me. cry

I grew up on the Isle of Man where all the pussies are tailless. Currently living in Bermuda where there's also lots of pussies, generally of the tailed variety however.

Don't forget the Blofeld scar accross your eye. Attention to detail is everything.

I know about the scar....
I'm going to ask Tony Hall to send a couple of his mates down to sort that out for me.
I'm more concerned about the pussy....our cats's a tabby and I don't know if she'll be happy sprayed white.
Isle of Man .....well that explains a lot then.........laugh

Top man for admitting to your fumble-fingered carelessness. Imagine the fate of Bond if he were so hobbled.

The pair of you could do something different and go as a Bond villain hybrid. I'm thinking of a combination between Blofeld and Odd Job.

And the name of the hybrid villain : well, here's a clue. It's not Oddfeld!
