Hello everyone,

I have a metallic clunk coming from the passenger side wiper when they are operating on my 2007 V8V, it happens when the wiper arm is at the bottom of the wipe cycle (park position), has anyone had the same fault? also yesterday I noticed condensation in both headlight units after the car had been used in wet cool weather with the lights on, again is this common or unusual?

Thanks for the help smile

I do not know re, wipers, but the condensation issue is common and disappointing.

Moisture trapped in there cannot be good for any metal items, prior to it disapating.
I would have thought AML would have fixed that years ago, even if it was just a breather hole somewhere. I think there has been a post about a DIY fix, but cannot remember any details.

I believe the headlamp has a one-way goretex membrane to allow it to breathe, but sudden temperature change will always cause condensation. I have seen this on many different makes of cars.

The DIY ( and AM fix) for front lights is silica bags in the back of the units (seriously)

normal in many cars, there is no sealed vacuum in the headlight, when you change the bulbs any moisture in the air is trapped in there, then with temperature variation you get some condensation depending how humid it is

running with dip beams on all the time helps stay on top of it in my experience
