Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours at Grange Welwyn OO7 Spectre Event.
Very well attended, must have been at least 100 there.
Mark Higgins gave a very good chat about the background to stunt driving on the several films he's taken part in complimented by video, seems a top bloke.
Plenty of alcohol about but I was good and only had a glass vino.
So if anybody on here went there I was the geezer dressed as Blofeld complete with scar and spectacles stroking my pussy.
The DB10 was on show and it was good to see it in the flesh.
Unfortunately I'm still not that keen on the styling especially the rear,it doesn't do it for me.Not a disaster but not quite right.
The star for me was the immaculate DB5 on show, now that's what an Aston should look like.
Pleasantly surprised to receive a goody bag as we left that contained various goodies especially an Omega Bond watch.

Not this time.....I've been involved with styling all my working life and on this subject my opinion is relevant.
Styling is always subjective and interestingly I have found that women like the styling of the DB10.
That may say more about you than the car....you girlie......laugh

Well my wife and daughters threatened to disown me as I created the scar with felt tip pens and what with the spectacles I looked a right berk.
After the event we went for a meal in a smart local italian restaurant,me still in fancy dress, they were very attentive as I looked like a mafioso hit man.
Funny aside to that was I was wearing the specs entering the restaurant and not being able to see properly promptly smashed into the glass door and nearly knocked myself out.
Fortunately my wife was already inside being seated so I was spared the embarrasment.

You might just be right there buddy (about the car.... wink). I had this very conversation the other night. Herself liked the DB10 and I said it didn't have enough aggression in its styling... QED.

You know what.....sometimes judging by the reaction I get from my family and on this forum I think I live in my own parallel universe...maybe I do...but in life there's so much bullst that it's my way of sticking up two fingers....if you know what I mean.
I do have some pics....may upload later.

Gutted to have been a bit late to the Aston party to be on dealer's books for an invite to this.

Sounds like it was a lot of fun.
