I didn't fancy paying a ludicrous (in my opinion) sum of £ to see it on a Monday night! But, I am getting tight in my old age.

Nope weeping On a waiting list with the charity it's in aid of. I *would* pay a ludicrous price to go, but can't afford to frown Bond premieres always seem to coincide with my being in a cashflow crisis! Have a feeling I'll never be able to tick this one off the bucket list.

Which charity is it in aid of? I really should read these things in more detail.

It's a bit odd because if I understand correctly, the UK premiere is the same night that it goes on general release in the UK, although the rest of the world doesn't get it for another week or two

So there are loads of so called 'premieres' occurring at the same time you could (if you've booked) watch it at any normal cinema ? Or am I missing something ?

As a result, there are an awful lot of 'premieres' being built around this

Lots of Aston dealers are doing something around Spectre of course - Stratstone Aston Wilmslow are doing a £40 per head do at the printworks - they have hired the largest (375 person) screen, plus a reception beforehand in a bar/restaurant in the printworks, all black tie - I'm going with some friends plus treating my old man, mainly for the novelty of watching bond at the cinema in black tie

I'm going to one next Monday but I've not had anything in the post yet and I'd guess it isn't this one..... I hope they're not posting it because I doubt I'll be able to get back to my house before Monday evening now.....

Chester have a new cinema that were looking to do something with one or more aston owner - free entry in return for displaying their car outside the cinema on launch night

I'm going to the Works screening too. Car park pass exclusively for Aston's (the Bentley was accepted!) was emailed to me this afternoon. Champagne reception from 7pm. You pick your tickets up when you sign in for the reception.

Enjoy!!

Picking the car up from Works on Monday (a well timed service!). The Bentley will be hard to miss ;-) - looks well in black.

Yes I got my 2 tickets yesterday for the Screening Rooms, Cheltenham.
Expensive? yes - but all for a good cause (charity).
Black tie event with Champagne and Canapés reception smile
...may even have a Dirty Martini.

The only time I take time off work or, indeed, specifically go to the cinema, is for a Bond movie (otherwise I wait until it comes out on DVD/Blu-ray)...so may as well do it in style smile

It's refreshing to see so many Aston Martin owners happy to be associated with the Bond franchise. There has been so much Bond Bashing recently here on the forum, I thought I was the only one who was pleased the brand was associated so closely with another British institution.

Like it or not, the two go hand in hand and I am more than pleased to be the proud owner of a British built product, and I am sure that Aston Martin hope to be as sucessful in the future as the multi billion pound Bond franchise, £5 Billion profit and rising.

I wish both well.

Yes, going to the black tie event at the Rex Berkhamstead organised by Stratstone Amersham. They have hired it for themselves. £40 per head, going with 2 daughters who are very excited.
