Hi all. Any Volante owners with an outdoor car cover they would recommend? I bought this one for my DB9 from AM and it is fairly rubbish

After 12 months the cover has started to perish becoming very thin in parts and leaving bits of itself all over the car. The car is outside, but there is a roof over its head (just no walls) so environment is not that harsh. I looked at the "ultimate" car cover that AM sells and apart from being very expensive (and a bit shouty) there is no indication it would fit the Volante.

Edited to add: I did notice that AMOC online store sells made to order covers, so would be interested if anyone could recommend these..

AFAIK the covers are the same for Coupe and Volante.

I have one you can have for a £100 donation to Help for Heros via Bamford Rose.

Not sure how we get it to Oz though frown

See this thread re condition etc

I have the AM one and modified it slightly so it fits a bit better - I put an eyelet in at the bottom of the cover next to all 4 wheels, and then I can secure it under the car with a bungee cord. It stops the front and back lifting up during heavy wind which was a bit of a problem I was having. Not had any issues with it since smile

George29..when you say you have the AM one, which one? The (unbranded) one in the pic above, or the more expensive "ultimate/Teflon" one (with the AM logo on it)?

I have a Stormshield+ for my 911GTS and as well as being a perfect fit, it's well made and durable.
