According to the manual Aston recommend replacing all the airbags every 10 years, given that the early cars are turning 10 this year I wondered if anyone has had the work done or whether everyone plans to ignore it?

I've had cars with airbags well over 10 years old so seems like a pretty bizarre thing to require!

When the topic came up previously, everyone just chose to ignore the warning. Airbag manufacturers don't warrant past 10 years, hence AM's warning.
Would be expensive to replace them

Yeah, that's what I figured, must be talking a few hundred a pop minimum per airbag + taking most of the interior to pieces - I wonder what the insurance implications are, I've never seen a comment about replacing airbags in any other user manual for any of the other cars I've owned.
