No, not a thread about some kind of Aston Martin blindfolded swingers meet wink

I was giving the car a quick hoover yesterday and noticed this tucked into the "mobile phone holder" in the driver's doorbin:

I have had a look round the door panel and can't see anywhere that uses screw like this, or anywhere where there's a screw missing - it's possible the previous owner stuck it there from somewhere else, anyone fancy hazarding a guess as to where before something drops off? biggrin

Is it threaded or a self tapper? can't make out from the photo.

Threaded - it doesn't have a sharp pointed end, which I think means it's not a self tapper anyway!

Possible locations........

Inside door panel attachment screw inside circular hole at front of panel
Door trim screw at top of door shut behind the small leather trim pice held in with Velcro
Screw holding leather trim piece on the inside of the interior door handle.
Screw holding down scuff panel trim on top of door sill.

Screws that small are also used inside the door trim panel but if it was discovered after the panel was refitted, then I am unsurprised it was left off "for next time".

That looks like the centre dash screw size. These are the ones that are under the leather trim, ski slope and centre panels.
If it doesn't rattle, don't worry!
