I've noticed something very weird when starting my V12VSR. After each start up I get a race track themed sound like racing cars going around a track and like people are clapping and chearing in the end. I believe it plays through the audio speakers with Sport button pressed. How weird is that? Anyone else experienced the same?

Have you also noticed that when you turn the traction control completely off and put the dampers in full track mode you can hear slightly tipsy Playboy centrefolds giggling as they chase each other naked around the pool?

I just assumed it was normal on an Aston Martin.

I must be doing it wrong. I took out fuse 15 then pressed all those buttons, and all that happened was that it was one louder and the headlights steamed up.

Well guys, I don't drink and drive, at least not at the same time! And I can definitely hear that soundtrack in the background for like 10 secs. Strange I know, but believe me I'm quite a down to earth type of guy so don't think the problem lies with me.

I too have noticed this magnificent feature, but it cannot be the Sport button in my case. Don't think I have one of those. No guidance in the handbook.

It is definitely coming from the audio, and that indicates wav file.
Sounds exactly like this;

Download video.
Extract sound in wav format.
Place file on memory stick.
Plug into car USB socket.
Enjoy.

Most of you will know this tech. stuff anyway.

( Those loud sounds are of course the (little) V8, not the grown up's V12! ) smile

I keep hearing this race track sound with people chearing and clapping in the background every time I start the engine. I know some of you thought I 'm having too much to drink but I investigated further and noticed it is actually my mobile phone which plays this tune when connecting via Bluetooth to the car which it does on every start up.
Strange as my mobile phone doesn't play this tune when it connects itself to my Range Rover. Sorry to revive a rather uninteresting thread but I needed to prove to you all I'm not an alcoholic! :-)
