I can never understand how this happens?

An Aston Martin Main agent cant sell its own demo. Weird.

Why not?

The car is there to demonstrate but there is absolutely no reason they cannot sell it. Demo cars are another way of giving management a company car without the tax implications too.

A certain German Main Dealer locally has dozens of demonstrators as they get major bonuses for registering new cars, so they get them in, register them and then claim them as demo's. They have more than 3 cars as demo's per head of staff, many identical.

I purchased a MB A220 demonstrator for my son recently and the salesman told me that MB finance the cost of demonstrators for first 90 days then the dealership inherit the finance after the 90 days, they are only allowed to sell the car after the 90 day period.

The figures make it look odd.
Similar car on the Pre-owned at about £130,000.
Perhaps Hartley was acting as agent, because at asking price £122,000, surely he would not actually buy-in for more than £110,000.
