FREE - 4 x Bridgestone OEM Vantage Tyres - Nr. Swindon
Discussion
Sorry for the duplicate thread but I realised my first post title did not emphasise the FREE bit so bumping it in case it helps someone out....
I am having my OEM Bridgestone Tyres changed to Michelin Pilot Super Sport next Wednesday 20th January in the Swindon area.
The Bridgestones have done 13K miles of relatively gentle, mostly motorway driving and there is a surprising amount of tread left on them particularly on the fronts where there is loads, with the rears still well above the TWI
It seems a shame that they may be dumped so if any Vantage owner can make use of them and can be in the Swindon area on the afternoon of next Wednesday 20th then they are welcome to them. If you track your car or are on a budget and need replacsments, then these will be ideal. You will not be disappointed, no nicks, tears, bulges or kerbing issues.
PM me - first come, first served as long as you don't mess me or the garage about. I would STRONGLY suggest anyone taking advantage of this makes a suitable charity contribution to Ed's charity pot (details on the Burghley page) but they are otherwise free.
One other caveat, I have not told the supplying garage about this yet until I know if I have a taker. I cannot imagine there being any issues on their side as they are really good but there may be something around tyre supply EU policy or something that I have overlooked in this strange age.
To confirm these are OEM Bridgestones supplied in July 2014 on a new car
2 x 285/35ZR19
2 x 245/40/ZR19

Failing this place, try gumtree. I've always managed to get rid of stuff on there.
If the fronts were for a V12 I'd have them as a spare set (my rears are pretty healthy and fronts low - I want to give them some track abuse before I change and upgrade them too)

Pleased to be able to close this out and confirm the tyres found their way to a good home.
Big shout out to Dick Lovett Ferrari/Maserati in Swindon for doing a great job fitting the Michelin PSS and looking after the Bridgestones that came off.
Can also report, having taken my car down a road this evening that I usually avoid as it is so bad in terms of ride and had the car previously hopping and skipping, that the Michelins transform the V8S - just better in every single respect.
Nothing new here just another review confirming same.

I was just about to pull the trigger on two new Bridgestone's for the front...are these the Michelin's you put on?

They're what I bought for mine, from Camskill. Worked out cheapest for me. Great tyres.http://www.camskill.co.uk/m55b0s326p102433/Micheli...
