Hi all,

I own a 06 DB9 with (what seems like the norm) corrosion spots around the door handles / arches. I'm wanting to have these panels repaired / resprayed I'm seeking any recommendations for paint shops which people have used to carry out similar work. I'm based in Kent but willing to travel for the right service. Any advice would be great.

Try out Chiltern Aston, they have an approved bodyshop on site and only 15mins form the M25 in Hertfordshire.

I'm in Kent too - I took mine to AM Brentwood and they were very good - got a contribution from AM to the cost and the bodyshop they use (Nigel at Balgores) did a great job.

Mike Sellar at MAS in Sittingbourne is superb and not overpriced. 01795 427300. He painted my GT3, Bianco Pearlato Integrale and 355 spider. All flawless. He paints a lot of mega money exotica and classics so knows his stuff smile

Depending on how much cost is a consideration, and given your location it may be worth giving Scuffbusters in tunbridge wells a call. They did a beautiful job respraying a panel on my V8Vafter a scratch, and charged about a quarter of the quote I received from my local AM bodyshop.

had both my rear wheel arches resprayed locally for £300 (seems to be a weak area on DB9's) ......wonderful job

AV Classics just near Luton - they've done many Gaydon Astons and are very good IMHO.
