Advantage Plus service plans
Discussion
Posting as it may be of use to some of you (not me of course now), but I just received details of something called "Advantage Plus" from Strattons (Norfolk).
It's a service plan covering 3 services (years 9, 10 and 11). Includes MOT and oil and filter changes (not transmission oil or air filter). 2,295 incl. VAT.
Doesn't include anything outside of a std service (other than a general health check - which tbh I'd expect at a service anyway!), but even on that basis that seems pretty good value looking back over my typical service costs.
Strattons are an authorised service centre so those of you with FAMSH could maintain it. I had my car done twice there and they were great.
Other authorised service centres might be doing the same....or might match it.
(I'm always very sceptical about these sort of plans, but with interest rates low it strikes me as a decent way to control service costs at these prices).
