My Roadster is completely rattle free with the top down but with the top up there is a rattle from the top of the windscreen where the top attaches to the header. Looks like it could be a cable adjustment issue. Any tips?

Thanks

From memory, there are some screws on the top of the windscreen and on the end of the hood (where it joins the windscreen). They might need tightening, as they use to come loose on my old roadster from time to time.

I had the same problem and it was the cable that unlocked the roof from the header rail tapping the metal whilst driving. Open the roof and look into the front header rail and try and grab the cable and give it a few waggles, cure for me was to stick some felt under the cable and the noise went. This was on the passenger side but when driving sounded like it was coming from the door, never happened when the roof was down.

My tip would be to take it back as a warranty issue.

Mine had several rattles during the first three years, warranty for each one.

Looks like a warranty visit; all bolts tight and no obvious cable rattle.

Thanks

Had the same with my V12VR. Works diagnosed a loose fitting clamp that holds the roof sealed to the header rail. The roof was also not compressing the seal evenly on left and right sides, but did not leak They replaced the whole assembly AND adjusted the hood. Problem solved!
