I'm sure the AM lawyers are perched ready to swoop if someone does.
That never seem to have stopped anybody from doing MR2/Ferrari body kits. leerandle said:
Plus would anyone with any sense, really buy one ????
I am sure plenty of sense lacking people could be found. Was wondering as there is one of the original ones up for auction at Christie's, and they expect it to change hands for between 1 and 1.5 million £. Given that 10 year old Vantages are rather affordable these days, if one doesn't care to upgrade the interior, there is a quick buck to be made.
Personally, I prefer the looks of the standard Vantage. On pictures at least the DB10 looks a bit odd with the squashed headlights and the unproportional big wheel arches in the back.
I wonder if this would ever be possible (easily). The DB10 isn't road legal because it doesn't meet the regulations for crash impact standards etc. I think if you tried to re-body it, you might get caught up in lots of red tape. Not saying it couldn't be done - but it might be an ache. That said, I wonder if the lucky buyer of the DB10 would commission Aston to make it road legal somehow. Now THAT would be worth the price tag
